The views from our room were absolutely stunning, with a wonderful country feel that was perfect for overseas visitors like us. The self-catering aspect allowed us to bring our own food, which was a great tip given in advance. The old farm house had a cozy atmosphere and we enjoyed sitting by the fire, reading, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The bedroom had a wonderful view, making for a picturesque stay. The availability of dry firewood was a great plus, ensuring that we stayed warm and comfortable throughout our stay.
We were initially given temporary quarters before being able to move into the room with an ocean view as we had expected. The lack of clear communication and a property manual was a bit frustrating, especially when it came to issues like the cold temperature in the house.

This hidden gem blew us away! The upgraded house was massive and had a pool table and foozball - super fun! The views were jaw-dropping, with stunning countryside and a glimpse of the ocean. Electric blankets kept us cozy, even in the bad weather. It was the perfect spot for peace and relaxation, and we loved chatting with fellow travelers by the fire. The country feel was ideal for overseas visitors. Our bedroom had a breathtaking view. This place is top-notch! We can't wait to return for a longer stay. The ample supply of dry firewood was an added bonus.

The comfortable double bed made for a super cozy night's sleep. The location was perfect for a Catlins get-away, with a stunning outlook and surrounded by sheep. The homely houses were well set up for groups/families, and the kitchen had everything you need. The view was jaw-dropping and the whole house to myself was mind-blowing. Definitely recommend staying here!

The location of the accommodation is exceptional, with stunning views of the hills and ocean. the house itself is beautiful and cozy, with nice rooms and a perfect kitchen equipped with everything you need. the area is private and remote, providing a peaceful and central base for exploring the Catlins.
It's important to note that the outdoor furniture is a bit degraded and could use some improvement.
